Space Pips
Space Pips is an online flash game similar to Geometry Wars. As a spaceship, the aim is to survive by destroying everything in your path. The game has an infinite time limit with it ending once killed.

[edit] Gameplay
The objective of the game is to move around the space filled area as a ship and avoid or destroy everything that you come across. To move you must use the 'WASD' buttons or the direction keys respectively, while the mouse is used to aim and shoot at targets. Hitting the space bar will deploy a bomb which wipes out every target on the radar. In the game you must collect little balls called 'space pips'. With these you can press the 'Escape' key at anytime and purchase additional upgrades. These space pips are released into the atmosphere after the destruction of a target. The number of pips you have are found at the bottom corner of the screen.
The score can be found in the top left hand corner, the bomb counter at the lower center of the screen and radar on the bottom right. The energy bar is located in the top right corner. The gameplay is fast so quick thinking and reflexes are a must for this game. The targets get harder to kill and larger in quantity the longer the game goes on for. Each target has its own unique style. The first target is an arrow ship which is easy to destroy but later you must deal with targets that are black holes that release several small targets which are harder to obliterate. If a target crashes into you it will cause damage to your ship and eventually destroy your ship.

There are several upgrades that can benefit your ship:
Weapons upgrade - This enables double firepower
Rapid Firepower - The speed of shooting increases double the speed
Eome (Bomb) - You begin with 3 bombs. The bombs wipe out all targets
Helper - For 100 Space Pips you can buy a small helper which will help shoot targets
Extra 1000 score - For 1,000 pips you can increase your score by 1,000
Health - For 20 Space Pips you can purchase a small quantity of health
Each type of upgrade has several levels e.g. causing additional firepower or helpers.

A good strategy is to fire continously while moving, making it easier to hit the targets. This is because you have infinite shooting ammo. It will also be easier to play this game using a mouse than a touchpad on a laptop.

Targets can spawn anywhere and most of the time they do it right on top of you. You should use your radar to see what is around you, making it easier for you to stay away from targets.
